Welcome to Chital Hunts — your gateway to an exclusive 20,000-acre hunting property in the heart of North Queensland.

Your journey begins with a flight into Townsville, where our team will meet you at the airport before a comfortable 3-hour drive to our remote private hunting grounds.

Access throughout the property is primarily via 6-seater Can-Am ATVs, allowing hunters to move safely and efficiently across the terrain while reducing physical strain. 

Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or new to the sport, we cater for all experience levels, fitness abilities, age and mobility requirements, delivering a professionally guided and unforgettable hunt.

Located in North Queensland, our accommodation is traditional station hand quarters, offering three comfortable bedrooms exclusively for hunters.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature shared bathroom facilities, providing a practical and comfortable base during your stay.

Standard Hunts are 6 Days on a 2x1 basis.

Standard hunts include;

• 1 Trophy Stag (including caping and freight prep)

• 5 Nights Accommodation

• All meals and non-alcoholic drinks

• Transfers to and from Airport (Townsville)

Hunting Dates: 2nd January to 31st January or 1 July to 31 July

Non-Hunter Day Rate $250 Per Day

We also have access to the Burdekin River, where afternoons can be spent angling for Sooty Grunter in one of North Queensland’s iconic river systems. 

The property offers numerous opportunities to hunt feral pigs, with a well-established population across varied terrain.

Over the years, we have successfully taken a number of large boars, reflecting the quality and consistency of the hunting available.
